Your Golf Holidays (YGH) started by renting their house in France to friends in 1986. From those early beginnings, YGH has grown to become the largest UK supplier of golfing holidays to France. The first brochure we designed for YGH in 1998 was 48 pages and 210mm square. As the company expanded into the worldwide golfing holidays market, the brochures grew to accommodate their increasing number of destinations.
The last brochure D2P designed for YGH was split into four separate business areas, totalling 200 pages and finished within a full colour printed binder. This brochure won a French travel industry award.
We are currently producing the 2008/09 brochure for YGH which will be published in September 2008. This will be a hard-backed full colour coffee table-type book, 260mm square numbering 288 pages. For more info see www.yourgolfholidays.com

Sporting Holidays
Offering a wide selection of adventure activities, Sporting Holidays was set up to provide something that little bit different for the adrenalin hunter. The brochure lists venues, activities, attractions and seasonal availabilities along with a regional map and general tourist information about each area. 24 pages and full colour throughout.

For many years D2p has been designing and printing annual reports for organisations such as Rothamsted Research and the Health Protection Agency. These reports contain detailed figures, graphs and charts and certainly require an eye for detail and consistency.Seminar and conference promotion is also an area of expertise, having been involved with many events all over the country. Typically an initial brochure is produced to spread the word amongst delegates.
This is followed with a more detailed programme to accompany the event itself containing timetables and speaker biographies.

Education - The British Council
The British Council "connects people with learning opportunities and creative ideas from the UK to build lasting relationships around the world". One of the many projects we designed for the British Council involved two 36-page brochures promoting educational interaction and study between English and French students.
Once the English language version had been artworked and approved, we translated the brochure into French for a separate print run and then off for distribution to prospective exchange students in France.

Clothing - Aztec Childrenswear
We started working for Aztec about four years ago. Since then Aztec’s business has steadily increased, and their catalogues have developed and evolved to include an ever-growing product range.Originally a catalogue of 20-pages and A5 portrait, the current catalogues are now 64-pages and landscape format. The catalogues are released each summer and winter season. We also provide seasonal promotional web adverts and imagery to be used on the Aztec website - the product range is available to buy online via the website at www.aztecstore.com

Government - The DTI
In 1993 we started designing promotional material on behalf of the DTI, for high profile trade visits featuring Concorde and the Royal Yacht Britannia.As the partnership progressed we designed and produced two industry yearbooks for the Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals department - the 'blue' and 'brown' books (shown here) - annual reports covering the UK's oil and gas resources. Both were up to 300 pages in size and included detailed diagrams of every oil, gas and condensate field.
We were also invited to design a 300sq.m exhibition stand in Delhi to represent and promote trade between the UK and India. The stands developed year on year, culminating in 1999 with a 1,200sq.m area incorporating displays from 28 different UK industries including a working MoT testing station and a virtual reality theatre.
D2P went on to help many other trade desks through trade missions and workshops.

Harpenden Lawn Tennis Club asked us to design and produce its centenary hard-back book as a memento of the history and development of the club from 1906 to 2006.Working closely with the author as the book content developed, we were able to help and advise through every stage of the book's production, from inception through to printing.

Sport - general
We have designed an eclectic mix of published book titles covering many subjects. Some of which include Frank Bruno, Wimbledon, cricket, bare-knuckle boxing as well as the official rugby world cup book.Continuing the sports theme, we produce Harpenden Lawn Tennis Club's annual handbook.
More recently we've been helping to promote Grandstand Media's events - namely the Horse of the Year Show and the British Open Showjumping Championships. This work includes exhibition graphic displays, presentation folders and a range of leaflets to promote the events to the general public.
D2P has also rebranded Grandstand, and associated companies.

Sport - Herts LTA
D2P has been working for the The Lawn Tennis Association for many years designing programmes for national junior tennis events, as well as county sponsorship publicity and yearly handbooks for Hertfordshire.Shown here are the Herts LTA annual report, a 20-page publication listing tournament results, news and reviews, plus their 64-page handbook.
We have also supplied flags, bunting and publicity for the Junior European Tennis Event, hosted in the UK.

Magazines
For 10 years, D2P designed and produced the quarterly magazine, Electricity UK - a 32-page self-cover publication, printed in full colour throughout. It was distributed to Electricity Association member companies and other interested parties.Other titles include 'Energy Trends' for the DTI and the 'Disability Handbook' for Chiltern District Council.
More recently D2P's started producing a quarterly magazine called 'Gimme' for Your Golf Holidays. This is a 28-page full colour publication highlighting current deals and breaks, as well as providing reviews of golfing destinations. See www.yourgolfholidays.com

Engineering - Whitehill Tools
Founded in 1930, Whitehill is a family-run company manufacturing tooling solutions for the UK and European woodworking industry.Product catalogue - D2P started working for Whitehill in 1997 when we were asked to design their first product catalogue. Since then the catalogue has grown and evolved as their product range has expanded - the latest catalogue being over 100 pages containing detailed technical illustration (shown here).
Signage - After a move to larger premises, we were asked to design and provide new signage, both externally and internally.
Website - which lists their entire product range. In 2006 we were asked to design and create an e-commerce website (see www.whitehill-tools.com)
